We put aside these mechanisms so routine, obsolete and crushed that we do not serve them with love. Photography is pure active meditation, the one who practices it knows what I’m talking about. one can strive to observe, but contemplation only occurs from within, it is not in the eyes as a mechanism, it is something beyond … it is intuition and heart … To take photos you have to be predisposed to observe, to let go, to wait, to contemplate … to see what happens … to see life … and in a second something happens … something awakes in you … something is born in you … and … you press the click … and it moves you to that primitive impulse to link yourself to life … to attach yourself to an instant … like that explosion of happiness that happens inside passive meditation … and you smile … Yes … and … it comes … Sometimes it happens … at other times … it’s time to wait … life … happens … happens …
